  Ruach Israel is a wonderful place for a Jewish Family experience! The Temple offers the familiar liturgy and all the festivals I grew up with in a Conservative setting. What makes Ruach Israel special is the people. The term friendly does not do justice to the welcoming feeling that makes every moment, especially on Shabbat so special. Plan a visit and get the feel for Ruach yourself.

  Not welcoming or friendly if you are single and without a family. Never been judged like I was when I walked in their front door. Within a matter of seconds I was told I "might want to check out other places" and the Rabbi proceeded to introduce me to the pastor of another congregation in the same building. If you're close-minded and have a family, then this is the place for you. If you're non-judgemental (how could the Rabbi forget "judge not lest ye be judged? Guess he applies that to where its convenient for him) and accepting of people as they are when they're looking to worship Yeshua, then this is not.

  Congregation Ruach Israel is a beautiful synagogue and an incredibly welcoming community. I love the way they honor being fully jewish while embracing Yeshua. Our family has been blessed to be a part of such a vibrant and faithful community.
